St. Louis is famous for the "Gateway Arch." This stainless steel structure towers 630 feet into the air, and spans 630 feet in width. It is the nation's tallest national monument. St. Louis Basilica (New Cathedral), gives you the opportunity to view the largest collection of mosaic in the western hemisphere. Another popular spot is the Missouri Botanical Gardens, also, know as "Shaw's Gardens," named after its creator, Henry Shaw. Here you can enjoy acres of horticultural displays and the history of its making.
